Maryland Championship Wrestling has announced 2 new matches for MCW Anniversary 2008, Sunday, February 24th, at the MCW Arena @ Northpoint in Dundalk, MD.

 

Announced during MCW HOLIDAY HOMECOMING, Ryan McBride & Teddy Stigma (with/ Earl The Pearl in their corner) will attempt to get a measure of revenge, as they battle The Headliners (Ramblin Rich & Jimmy Jannetty), managed by Bobby Starr. This match came about when McBride & Stigma were attacked by The Headliners at Holiday Homecoming just prior to their MCW Tag Team Title Match against the champions The Ghetto Mafia. The Headliners took their place in the contest but came up short in the end. Bobby Starr blamed special guest referee Earl The Pearl for the loss. The Headliners and Bobby Starr attacked Earl, and continued the beatdown until McBride & Stigma made the save. Now, the two teams will battle at ANNIVERSARY 2008. But now, there is an added stipulation: the winners will receive a title shot later that night.
