I have always been one to say that there are times to stick to storylines and then there are times where you just need to shoot with the fans. I was on the edge about this, but after seeing it pop up on the message board I believe this is one of those times to shoot. Pat Brink & Tyler Hilton are scheduled for a 'loser leaves town' match on December 26th at Michael’s Eighth Ave. The truth of the matter is that win or lose, both men will be leaving town after that show. Pat & Tyler will be moving down to Florida to train with Bubba & Devon, Team 3-D in an effort to take that next step in their young careers.

Most of you that have followed MCW for the past 8 or 9 years probably remember Pat Brink as a security guard, then a tall much thinner bodyguard for the Holy Rollers and Platinum Nat. What you probably don’t know is that Tyler has been around almost as long. As a skinny little 14 year old kid he would come to the fantasy camps down at Bone Breakers and ask to come to the school and watch the guys practice. He would offer to sweep the floors and clean up around the school just to be able to watch the guys work in the ring.

I truly admire both of these guys for their continued dedication to this business, their burning desire to improve their skills in the ring, and their deep passion to perform in front of the MCW fans. Both of these guys realized along time ago that 80% of being able to make it in this business is getting your body into peak physical condition. The years of eating right, making sacrifices and hours upon hours in the gym is not enough to make it in a business where “The Look” is just as important as the ability to work.

This is a business of stages, MCW has the ability to open doors for people and help them advance to the next stage in their career. Once that dooe opens, it is up to the person to decide to walk through that door. Pat & Tyler have made that decision. They will be quiiting their jobs, selling their homes, leaving family and friends behind and heading south. Bubba & Devon’s training center is down there as well as one of the WWE’s developmental areas & TNA’s base of operations.

Therefore December 26, 2007 will not just be an end of year celebration but it will also be a farewell for 2 guys that have been a big part of MCW for a very long time. The match will be for the MCW Rage TV Title, but due to the fact that the Rage TV Online show is no where near where I would like it to be, we will be retiring that belt after that match. I hope that you will be there at Holiday Homecoming 2007 to help us say good bye to 2 of the staples of our company.
