On December 26th, at Michael's 8th Avenue, wrestling fans will witness one of the most anticipated matches in MCW history. Dan McDevitt will wrestle Zachary Shane in a 8th Avenue Street Fight, where there will be no rules.

This is a match that could rip the foundation of Maryland Championship Wrestling. There are so many factors going into this match. To know just how personal this match is, you must go back to July 9th, 2002. Danny thought that he had found the woman that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. With the ring box in hand, Danny proposed to Kim that day, setting up for the wedding that would take place nearly 3 years later. During this engagement period, Danny shut down MCW, partly in order to focus on developing his relationship with Kim, and to focus on their future together. The "fairy-tale"-like wedding, which had a wrestling theme (including the ceremony taking place inside of a wrestling ring), occurred in April 2005, at Michael's 8th Avenue.

Problems would surface a year later, and rumors began to go around inside of the locker room. Most of the rumors were negative ones about Kimberley, with some believing that "wandering eyes" might be the reason. Not wanting to believe them rumors, Danny continued to focus on the company and on the marriage. But the rumors would intensify, and Danny could no longer ignore them. The confirmation of those rumors by Kimberley was the final straw, and the separation occurred last Summer. Danny was devastated. The love of his life was gone, due to her inability to respect the marriage. Kim would also leave MCW at this time.

Danny would return, more focused than ever. He had dealt with the situation, and decided to move on, focusing on making MCW the #1 independent wrestling organization in the world. But he would receive the biggest surprise of his life, as Kimberley decided that she was not finished within the wrestling business as well. That's when the struggle for MCW supremacy began. To make matters worse, Kimberley brought Zachary Shane back with her, flaunting him in front of the crowd, and especially Danny.  Enraged, Danny sought to get revenge every chance he got. But somehow, Kim & Zach always managed to escape, thanks to the rest of Creative Control. There will be no escape on December 26th, as Danny McDevitt attempts to get a measure of revenge. Danny vows to hurt and humiliate young Zachary, in front of everyone, especially Kimberley. Kim vows to prove that she has made the better choice, and that Zachary Shane will get the job done.

This match is extremely personal, not only for the people in the match, but also, for the entire locker room, as this was an issue that nearly ripped the foundation of MCW. Danny & Kim return to the site of their wedding, to wage war. Will Zachary Shane be the first casualty?  All eyes will be on this match, where there will be no rules, as the winner can only win via pinfall or submission.
