Maryland Championship Wrestling announces that local Maryland recording artists BERETTA JANE's "Die 4 U" will be the theme song for MCW HOLIDAY HELL, December 27th at the New Green Room in Dundalk, MD (2701 North Point Blvd).
Beretta Jane fuses the blazing guitars of the 80's hairspray heyday with a modern, melodic twist of their own. The result is a unique package that has everyone taking notice. Starting anew in the summer of 2007, the members of Beretta Jane bring a wealth of experience to the table, playing together for over 6 years while sharing the stage with the likes of the Foo Fighters, Billy Idol, Counting Crows, LA Guns, Joan Jett, Coldplay, The Strokes and Good Charlotte.
The band has just released their debut EP, a five-song collection drawn off of their diverse influences and real-life experiences. Thefirst single, “Die 4 U”, captured the attention of WIYY 98 Rock- Baltimore) Program Director, Dave Hill and Music Director, Rob Heckman who immediately placed the song current regular rotation. It quickly became the #1 MOST REQUESTED SONG on the station.
This year, Beretta Jane has also licensed their song, “Blacktop Holiday” to Kyle Busch Motorsports for usage on their official website, rowdybusch.com. Also, the band headlined Saturday’s portion of the AST Dew Tour @ Camden Yards, and hosted an event for the Chris Kirkpatrick (N’SYNC) Foundation.
Indeed, as their song suggests, these small-town boys are making a whole lot of noise and are poised to show the world how Baltimore does rock-n-roll!
