THE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPS!!!! - JASON STATIC & SCOTT FOWLER Coming into MCW XTREME MEASURES, the now-former tag team champions, Danny Doring & Danny Jaxx, were celebrating. They were celebrating when they found out that Doug Delicious, the man who was scheduled to team with Jason Static this past Sunday, could not appear due to a family emergency. Doring & Jaxx allowed Static to find another partner, just as long as that man did not have a match on the show. The two Dannys believed that they were in for an easy tag team title defense. THEY WERE WRONG!!! Jason Static found "The Solution" to his problem. Static asked Scott Fowler to team with him for the match. Fowler, a native of Frederick, MD, has been trying to earn a spot on the MCW roster for quite some time now. Static has been impressing officials and fans since debuting with the company at MCW RESURRECTION. Static has been trying to find the right tag team partner (first, Judas Young, then Doug Delicious). But Static found the right partner in Fowler. However, the former champs did not know that Static & Fowler knew each other, prior to coming into MCW. Jason & Scott teamed up on a previous WWE SmackDown taping here in Baltimore (July 23, 2005 vs. The Blue World Order). On May 7, 2006, almost a year later, Static & Fowler decided to team again. And this time, they struck gold, shocking the MCW fans & locker room with the victory. Was it fate? Was it destiny? Was Doring thinking about his upcoming re-appearance in ECW? Was Jaxx thinking about the afterparty? Whatever it was, Jason Static & Scott Fowler have put their names in the MCW record books, and now, look to take MCW by storm. And with teams like Bruiser & Genesis (who announced their intentions to go after the tag titles), The Slackers, The Holy Rollers, and The Trojan Twins, plus the former tag team champions Danny Doring & Danny Jaxx, the new champs will have a lot of teams to watch out for.
