POISONOUS SITUATION
Former Champions Reveal Their Plans to Destroy Each Other
At Anniversary 2008, Kelly Bell returned to introduce his new segment, Phat Blues Cafe. His first guest was the former MCW Heavyweight & Tag Team Champion Danny Doring. As Doring began to talk, it seemed like the fans were listening to a different Danny Doring. He was angry and more determined. Angry because he felt that MCW management had placed in situations that were not good for his career. And more determined, as he announced that he was concentrating his efforts on regaining the title that he never lost, the MCW Heavyweight Championship.
In the middle of the speech, Doring was interrupted by another former Champion, the hitman of Creative Control, The Bruiser. Bruiser never had a chance to explain why he was out there, because Doring immediately turned his attention on him. Doring told Bruiser that he has become an afterthought, saying that he was no longer important in MCW and had been reduced to being a lackey for Creative Control. Seemingly upset, Bruiser left the Arena. Minutes later, as Doring finished his segment on Phat Blues Cafe, he walked through the curtain and was attacked by The Bruiser. A vicious chairshot, that sounded more like a gunshot, from The Bruiser, knocked Doring back down the ramp. Doring tried to fight back, but was unable to overcome The Bruiser, tapping out to the Bruise-mission later on. Bruiser, however, refused to release the hold, and was disqualified. Doring would refuse medical attention, vowing to get revenge on the man who had just humiliated him.
Backstage, MCW officials would not sanction a rematch between the two, but instead allowed each man to select an opponent for the other, for April 5th. Doring selected Corporal Punishment as the man to face The Bruiser in a Bar Room Brawl. The Bruiser & Corporal Punishment have a tremendous history that goes back nearly 10 years. Upon hearing this, Bruiser would then select a man who hasn't been in MCW in 10 years. A man, who will now return to MCW to battle another ECW alumnus. On April 5th, former ECW World Tag Team Champion Danny Doring will battle former ECW World Heavyweight, Tag Team, and Television Champion, The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying SABU!!!! Will the Green Room be able to hold these combustible elements within its' 4 walls? And will each man's plan work, destroying the other?
