At the 9th Annual Shamrock Cup on July 11th, Qeenan Creed and Adam Carelle were 2 of the last 4 men standing in the finals.  Carelle pinned former WWE Superstar Kenny Dykstra to eliminate him from the Cup and before he was able to enjoy the biggest pin of his career for too long, he came face to face with the eventual Cup winner, Ryan McBride.  As the two young fan favorites stood face to face, McBride smacked the taste out of Carelles mouth and Qeenan Creed rolled Carelle up for a pin, eliminating the 19 year athlete.

 

After signing the contract for August 7th, Carelle had this to say "The Shamrock Cup was without a doubt the biggest night of my career.  Being in the ring with and pinning Kenny Dykstra, along with Ryan and former cup winner, Qeenan was a thrill.  Just as I pinned Dykstra, I was so excited, I forgot for a split second that the match was still going on.  Ryan brought me back to reality, but Qeenan snuck up from behind to pin me.  Granted, it was every man for himself, and Qeenan did the smart thing by taking the pin, I just cant help but wonder what would happen if we were face to face.  Ever since coming to MCW, I have looked up to Qeenan.  He has won The Shamrock Cup in the past, along with being a former MCW Tag Team Champion and the current MCW Rage TV champion.  Its going to be an honor to face Qeenan on August 7th.  I know I am going to bring everything I have that night, and I just ask Qeenan to do the same."

Current MCW Rage TV Champion Qeenan Creed had this to say in response "Your damn skippy I pinned Carelle when I had the chance.  You're not just gonna come in my ring and think you are going to win the Cup while I am still around.  The kid says he looks up to me, well he is going to be looking up at the lights on August 7th when I pin him.  I dont care how many young girls will be screaming his name that night, in my eyes, its all about this belt and I am not ready to let anyone else hold it."

 

On August 7th, a potential piece of MCW in the future will meet a definite piece of MCWs past and present as Adam Carelle faces Qeenan Creed for the MCW Rage TV Title.
