| On March 21st at an Eastern Wrestling Alliance event in Parkville, MD, Ryan McBride & Teddy Stigma battled Zachary Shane & Tyler Hilton in a No Disqualification, No Countout grudge match. All 4 men came to the ring in street clothes and brandishing weapons such as trash cans, chains and cheese graters. The action spilled out of the ring and into the crowd, throughout the building. As a result of their actions, all 4 men involved have been suspended by the Maryland State Athletic Commission for 90 days. All involved have petioned the Commission all week trying to appeal or overturn the decision, with no luck. While we at Maryland Championship Wrestling understand the Commissions stance, we can not deny that all 4 athletes put on the best performance of their careers that night and should be applauded for that match. We at MCW look forward to this summer when McBride, Stigma, Hilton and Shane can return to the ring. |
