Message from Dan Mcdevitt Regarding Stipulations
I guess this is one of those things where "One person can ruin it for everyone". After a couple of e mails to the MCW website and hearing complaints on the message board. I had the Webmasters for MarylandWrestling.com look into the votes coming into the site for the Heavyweight Championship Match between Adam Flash & Christian York on Friday July 18th. The webmaster informed me that he could see that the votes were being manipulated by one person as of the last 3 days. That is why you saw the votes for the blindfold match drastically increase. They could tell this by IP addresses, however, due to the fact that these are polls that we do not write the programming for there is nothing we could do to block them from voting. If someone knows and understands how to be able to get around the system and vote more than once than there is nothing that we can do to stop them.
Therefore I felt I had to make a decision and that is what I have done. I firmly believe that the first week or so that the votes that came in were from our most loyal fans. With that being said I feel that their voices have been heard and I have listened. Due to the fact that "someone" took it upon themselves to manipulate the votes, we are calling off the voting and taking down the poll. The webmasters went back and took the results from the poll before the votes began to be altered and they are the results we are going with. The stipulations for the Heavyweight Championship Match will be as follows.
Fall #1: I QUIT MATCH
I QUIT Match- No disqualifications and no Count outs and no pinfalls the only way a wrestler can win is to make his opponent say "I QUIT"
Fall #2: LAST MAN STANDING MATCH
Last Man Standing Match- is a match where the only way to win is by knockout. That is, a wrestler will lose the match if they are unable to answer a ten-count after being downed, similar to the knockout ruling of a boxing match.
Fall #3 (If a 3rd Fall Is Needed) A CHAIN MATCH
Chain Match- Both wrestlers will be connected at the wrist with a steel chain. The only way to win this match is to drag your opponent around and touch all 4 corners of the ring.
